Conveyancing and other Property Matters
Conveyancing
The sale or purchase of your family home or investment property can be a daunting experience and one that requires excellent attention to detail and accurate advice from your legal representative to ensure the transaction runs smoothly.
Wendy McLay has over 15 years conveyancing experience from her previous employment with two leading local law firms combined with a further 13 years of experience in the banking and finance sector.
On your behalf we liaise with your real estate agent and lender to expertly manage your property sale or purchase and give you peace of mind that settlement will take place on time.
You will receive comprehensive advice on the Vendor Statement, the Contract of Sale, and the conveyancing process generally including reminders of critical dates for finance approval and pest and/or building inspections.
In the unusual event that problems arise, your file will take priority until any issues are resolved.
We offer:
- competitive fixed cost conveyancing
- accurate estimates of disbursements (out of pocket expenses such as title searches and property certificates where these are not included in the Vendor Statement or are out of date)
- fast, friendly & professional service
- accessible legal advice and support at every stage of your transaction both pre- & post-Contract.
Wendy McLay Conveyancing & Legal is an authorised user of the State Revenue Office Duties Online System enabling the assessment of stamp duty for cash purchasers to take place immediately after settlement has occurred.
